Skin problems such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and vitilego are difficult to treat well with Western Medicine.

Hives and urticaria can be treated well with drugs, but only to the extent that symptoms are relieved. In Western Medicine, the true cause of such disorders remains somewhat murky.

Consequently, treatments are usually in the form of topical medicine, which is not adequate to remove the cause of the problem. There are pharmaceutically drugs which treat these diseases systemically, but there are many unwanted side effects, making treatment more difficult.

Chinese medicine works well for a variety of skin problems, without unwanted side effects. This is possible through diagnosing and treating the underlying cause of each skin condition.
